A 50-year-old man in East China's Shandong Province has shocked the world by picking up eggs with a pair of handmade iron chopsticks with a length of 4.616 meters and weighing 15 kilograms.

The chopsticks master, Zhao Wenqi, started practicing the unique skill during his spare time and has been doing it for 17 years. As a cook for 20 years, he said his performance of picking up eggs with the giant chopsticks doubles the amount he makes at his regular job.

The pair of chopsticks were certified by Unison world record in 2021, winning the title of the world's "longest spliced chopsticks."

"With a length of 4.6 meters, that's not chopsticks, it's a tree!" a Chinese netizen joked.

The titled ones are the sixth pair of chopsticks Zhao has used. He said he wanted to promote China's chopsticks culture all over the world.

Zhao has performed on China Central Television, and also participated in chopsticks skill shows in foreign countries.
