The delivery vehicle for Chinese taikonauts, the Tianzhou-3, was successfully launched for a second supply mission to the space station on Monday. Among all supplies that were transported to the space station, the ones especially sent for female taikonauts, including cosmetics and sanitary pads, attracted the attention of netizens.

When female taikonauts live in the space station for six months, how will they maintain the normal living conditions? This is a question asked by many Chinese netizens.

The fact is that whether male or female taikonauts, their personal needs in the space are all in full consideration.

The Tianzhou-3 carried daily cleaning and care products specially developed for future female taikonauts at the Chinese space station to meet their needs during their stay for six months.

The researcher of the cosmetic company said that they have adjusted the packaging to a convenient vacuum pump bottle to make it suitable for use in the space station. The pump volume is precise and controllable each time when users press the pump head. When using the pump, astronauts only need to press the pump head to get the required amount into the palm and apply it on the face until it is absorbed, as The Paper reported.

Besides cosmetics, some sanitary products and clothes were also prepared for female taikonauts, China Central Television reported.

The Long March-7 Y4 rocket lifted off from the Wenchang Space Launch Center located in South China's Hainan Province on Monday afternoon carrying the Tianzhou-3 cargo spacecraft.

The mission is tasked to transport supplies, equipment and propellant to get Tianhe ready for the next crew of three taikonauts of the Shenzhou-13 mission that will launch in October for their six-month stay.
