A man in Hangzhou, East China's Zhejiang Province, was caught driving drunk on January 1 after he rushed to check his twin brother, who was involved in a car accident and was also drunk, reported Xibujuece.com on Saturday.

The accident happened after the twin brothers had dinner together to celebrate New Year's Eve. The elder brother crashed his car into a roadside facility on his way back home. He suffered no injuries, and called his younger brother to go to the scene.

The police said that when they were dealing with the drunk-driving accident, they also found a man with the odor of alcohol in another car not far from the site of the accident. The man, according to the police, looked "almost the same" as the driver who had an accident.

Both men have received punishment for driving drunk.

"For the police, this might be called 'catch one, get one,'" commented a Weibo user.
