There has been a Bing Dwen Dwen frenzy since the beginning of the Games, leading to a huge shortage of Bing Dwen Dwen related products and many netizens crying on social media platforms that they can't get the mascot.

According to media reports, many people have to queue up for at least one hour before getting into a licensed store in the Wangfujing street in Beijing to buy a Bing Dwen Dwen and the store only sells 1,000 per day.

As the love affair with the mascot continues, the listing price of one Bing Dwen Dwen pin from a launched non-fungible token collection on official trading platform nWayplay also surged to more than 10 times the issuing price for the total set of three pins, ranging from $450 to $1,350 on Thursday.
