A man who was talking on his cell phone accidentally threw away a handbag containing 110,000 yuan ($17,347) in Suqian, East China's Jiangsu Province on February 16.

Almost two days later, police officers successfully found the old lady who picked up the money through surveillance video and returned it to the owner. The man thanked the police for their help and the old lady who found the money, saying he would no longer look at his phone while walking on the road. 

Though playing with mobile phones sounds normal, it can be dangerous especially when done in the wrong place. This time, he was lucky to get his money back, netizens said. Others said he should be grateful that he wasn't on a busy road, otherwise things could have been worse.
