A video of a group of people eating hot pot in a cave in Southwest China's Chongqing Municipality went viral online on Saturday. The video shows that more than a dozen people set up tables in the cave, bring their cutlery and food material and enjoy hot pot. Some of them were even wearing cotton-padded jackets. 

An interviewee explained that Chongqing was particularly hot in 2022, but the cave was only 16 degrees all year round, which was very suitable for avoiding the summer heat outside.

Some people say enviously that they also want to go to this place to enjoy the cool temperature. "The obsession with hot pot is written in Chongqing people's blood," one netizen joked.
