Guangzhou International Art Fair - art festival

The city of Guangzhou in Guangdong Province is one of China's most developed mega cities. Its unique West-meets-East cultural ambience has helped promote the fast development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

The upcoming 27th Guangzhou International Art Fair is a fantastic platform for international arts in China while also promoting China's rich artistic legacies to visitors from abroad.

The art expo has nine themed exhibition sections, among which the highlight is the first section called "Humanity and Culture of the Greater Bay Area."

Numerous contemporary artworks such as sculptures, paintings and art installations are displayed in this section to show how the Greater Bay Area has nurtured the local economy and inspired works of art.

The other sections include artworks that focus on the urban culture of Guangzhou, the intangible cultural heritages of the city's Cantonese culture and artworks powered by digital creativity.

The "digital area" shows Guangzhou's innovative powers as the city, along with nearby Shenzhen, are known for their good technological industries.

Don't worry if you miss out on the opening of the art fair on December 17 as it is scheduled to run until December 19 to give visitors more opportunities to visit.
