China-Japan-Korea Invitational Exhibition kicks off in Shenyang

The China-Japan-Korea Art Academies Paintings and Works on Paper Invitational Exhibition opened at the Art Gallery of Luxun Academy of Fine Arts on Friday in Shenyang, Northeast China's Liaoning Province.

Exhibition curator Feng Jianyu, who has led the curatorial team to make preparations for nearly a year, has gathered 77 representative works of artists from 31 art colleges and universities.

As an independent painting genre, watercolor painting has an indispensable position in art education, so the exploration of new art language forms and the guidance of art concepts in contemporary watercolor painting education are particularly important. This exhibition represents the highest level of Chinese watercolor painting today.

According to Feng, there will be an effective exchange and interaction in art and art education at the exhibition, thus promoting a leap forward in the art of Chinese watercolor painting and watercolor painting education.

The exhibition will last until Tuesday.

French Cultural Center in Beijing holds French film event

A French film screening event is currently being held at the French Cultural Center in Beijing until March 31. As the festival showcases films that are at the crossroads of different cultures, audiences will see intimate collaborations of artists from different countries whose different accents of French are the language they use to communicate and share. This is also an important source of inspiration for them.

The event is screening Quebec comedies, Tunisian thrillers, Romanian animation and a variety of films from Switzerland, Belgium, France and North Africa. Stories taking place at the Chinese border are also included.
