Singapore's Senior Minister and former Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong stated at the Suzhou Industrial Park High-Quality Development Forum recently  that dismissing China's influence is both shortsighted and unwise.

According to the China Central Television (CCTV), Lee highlighted that China's development is a sustained, long-term process, noting that the country has demonstrated the ability to maintain consistent long-term policies and directions with a strategic perspective while navigating short-term fluctuations with composure. He also highlighted the significant potential for growth in China's economy.

The former leader of Singapore observed that China's science and technology sector is both highly competitive and advanced, and that the determination of the Chinese people to achieve success and stand tall in the world must not be underestimated.
