Recently, 29-year-old amputee Wang Hui made headlines after successfully summiting the 6,178-meter Yuzhu Peak, Northwest China's Qinghai Province, over six days. To ensure safety, Wang underwent acclimatization training beforehand and arrived early at a mountaineering town over 4,000 meters above sea level. He began his ascent at 2 pm. On May 2, Wang reached the summit at 10 am the following day.

Wang revealed that he built his own climbing crutches. Having previously climbed Huangshan Mountain in Anhui Province and Emei Mountain in Sichuan Province, he posted his hiking videos online, inspiring many fellow climbers.

"I may have one less leg than others, but I have two extra points of support," Wang said. "My ultimate goal is to conquer Mount Everest."
