Chinese FM spokesperson Mao Ning

In response to a question from the Global Times over a bomb attack targeting a school bus on May 21, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning said on Thursday that China has taken note of this attack against a school bus and expressed deep condolences to the victims, extending sincere sympathies to the bereaved families and the injured. 

Mao said that "China firmly opposes all forms of terrorism and will continue to firmly support Pakistan in its efforts to combat terrorism, maintain social stability, and protect the safety of its people."

According to media reports, a bomb attack targeting a school bus occurred on May 21 in the Khuzdar district of Pakistan's southwestern Balochistan province, killing at least five people and injuring 38 others. Among the deceased were three children.
