According to CCTV News, at approximately 4:15 am on Saturday, a cargo ship collided with a fishing boat in the central Bohai Sea, causing the fishing vessel to capsize and resulting in missing crew members.

Upon receiving the report, the Ministry of Emergency Management immediately initiated a response, directing authorities to collaborate with relevant departments to conduct all-out search and rescue operations for the missing individuals, organize scientific and effective rescue efforts, investigate the cause of the accident, and prevent similar incidents from recurring, CCTV reported.

The Office of the Work Safety Commission under China's State Council, along with the Ministry of Transport and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, has dispatched a working group to the scene to guide the emergency response, according to the report.

As of press time, search and rescue operations as well as the investigation into the cause of the incident are underway, reported CCTV.
