2 Chinese tourists killed, 3 injured in road accident in Egypt’s Giza

A road accident occurred on the Pyramids Road in Giza Province, Egypt on Monday, leaving two Chinese tourists dead and three others injured, China Central Television (CCTV) News reported on Monday.

The crash took place in the morning when a minibus collided with a car. Among the seven injured, three were Chinese tourists and four were Egyptian nationals. All the injured were rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment, said the report.

Staff members from the Chinese Embassy in Egypt rushed to the scene  after the accident and visited the injured at the hospital. According to CCTV News, two of the injured Chinese tourists suffered minor injuries, while one was seriously injured. However, none of them are in life-threatening condition.
