When asked to comment on reports that the Japanese Embassy in China has warned Japanese nationals in China to avoid crowded places, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning said at a regular press briefing on Tuesday that China will continue to protect the safety of foreign nationals in China in accordance with the law.
