On the 88th anniversary of the Nanjing Massacre, a batch of cultural relics and historical materials reflecting the crimes of the invading Japanese army were added to the Memorial Hall of the Victims of the Nanjing Massacre by Japanese Invaders. The Memorial Hall held a donation ceremony for these historical materials on Friday, according to CCTV News.

A total of 13 items (sets) of cultural relics and historical materials were made public this time. These include letters written by Japanese invadors, photos taken after the Japanese occupation of Nanjing, archives of military doctors who died in the battle of Nanjing, a photo album of the "Hanami Unit" of the Japanese army, and English and French periodicals.

These cultural relics and historical materials are a powerful rebuttal against Japanese right-wing forces, providing irrefutable support for restoring historical truth and remembering national trauma, and demonstrating the firm stance of both domestic and international communities in safeguarding historical memory and defending justice and conscience, experts said, per CCTV News.
