Guo also noted that economic and trade cooperation should continue to serve as the ballast stone and propeller of China-US relations. "We hope that the US will work with China to implement the important consensus reached by the two heads of state, and, based on the principles of equality, respect and mutual benefit, continuously reduce the list of issues and expand the list of cooperation through dialogue and consultation, so as to strive for more positive progress," he said.
