In response to questions over US President Donald Trump claiming to allow Nvidia to export its H200 artificial intelligence (AI) chips to China, and whether China will permit the purchase of those chips and when Trump informs the Chinese side of the decision, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun said on Tuesday at a press conference that "We have noticed relevant media reports. China has consistently maintained that China and the US should pursue mutual benefit through cooperation," domestic news outlet ThePaper reported.
