In response to a question asking whether the Chinese side could confirm the relevant visits as media reported that the US President Donald Trump said on Thursday local time on Air Force One that he will visit China in April, Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Guo Jiakun said on Friday that the steady development of China-US relations serves the common interests of the peoples of both countries and meets the shared expectations of the international community.  

Head-of-state diplomacy plays an irreplaceable leading role in China-US relations. "Regarding the specific questions you mentioned, I have no information to provide at the moment," Guo said.
