"We do not comment on relations between the UK and Japan, and we hope that countries should develop relations in a way that is conducive to regional peace and stability," Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun said on Friday when asked what message China hopes UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer would convey to Japan as he will visit Japan,according to the Beijing Daily.
