The heads of state of China and the US maintain communication and interaction, Lin Jian, spokesperson of Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on Thursday when asked about remarks made after a phone call between the Chinese and US leaders, in which, US President Donald Trump said the Chinese leader would visit the White House before the end of this year.

Lin said he had no information to provide at the moment regarding the specific issue mentioned.
