Asked to comment on the fourth anniversary of the outbreak of the Russia-Ukraine conflict, Chinese FM spokesperson Mao Ning said on Tuesday that China's position on the Ukraine crisis has been consistent and clear. China supports all efforts conducive to peace. Recently, the Ukraine crisis has finally seen the door to dialogue open, with all parties maintaining the momentum of talks. Dialogue and negotiation are the only viable way to resolve the crisis. It is hoped that all parties will seize the opportunity to reach a comprehensive, lasting and binding peace agreement.

China stands ready to work with the international community to continue playing a constructive role in promoting a political settlement of the crisis, said Mao.
