US-Israeli military actions against Iran violate international laws and trade should not be instrumentalized or weaponized, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning said in response to a media inquiry on media reports which claimed that US President Donald Trump threatened to impose a full US trade embargo on Spain if it refused to let the US military use its bases for missions linked to ‌strikes on Iran.
