The Chinese Embassy and Consulates in Iran on Thursday reiterated a security advisory, urging Chinese nationals to strictly follow safety guidance, exercise heightened caution, avoid sensitive areas such as military and government facilities, and evacuate or relocate to safer regions if possible, noting that the Chinee Foreign Ministry had previously advised against all travel to Iran.

According to a statement released via the embassy's official WeChat account, while parts of Iranian airspace have reopened, the regional situation remains highly uncertain and the security environment complex and fluid. It added that in case of emergencies, citizens should promptly contact local police and seek assistance from Chinese diplomatic missions.

The statement also warned that those who choose to proceed to Iran despite the advisory may face extremely high security risks, and their ability to receive consular assistance could be significantly affected.
