In response to a question from a foreign media reporter about whether China agreed to purchase US oil in the future during the China-US leaders' summit, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun said on Friday that China is willing to work with all parties to jointly safeguard global energy security and the stability of industrial and supply chains. He added that the urgent priority is to promote the restoration of peace and stability in the Gulf and the Middle East.
