In response to reports that Chinese and Russian military aircraft on Tuesday flew near Japan and South Korea, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun said on Wednesday that regarding the situation of the joint China-Russia patrol, the Ministry of National Defense has released relevant information. We would like to emphasize that this joint strategic air patrol falls within the annual cooperation plan and demonstrates both sides' resolve and capability to jointly address regional security challenges and uphold regional peace and stability.
