Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun

The ETIM is a terrorist organization designated by China and listed by the UN Security Council in accordance with the law, and Syria has committed to not allowing any entity to use Syrian territory to engage in activities that undermine China's security, sovereignty and interests, said Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun. 

Guo made the remarks on Thursday at a regular press briefing in response to media inquiry that Syrian foreign ministry officials claimed that Chinese government has not formally requested the Syrian government for the repatriation of ETIM militants.
