When asked to comment on reports that the US Department of Defense has moved parts of Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) air defense system from South Korea to the Middle East, and if China opposes the US redeploying these weapons back to South Korea in the future, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun said on Wednesday that "we've noted relevant reports. China's position of opposing the deployment of the US THAAD anti-missile system in South Korea remains unchanged."
